Lita had overrun it and the ball was going out of play. At the time a few people accused Lita of diving as he had lost control of the ball.
And we have been over this many, many times. I think that a goalkeeper getting himself sent off and giving away a penalty to equalise right at the start of the second half whilst playing away would normally be a pretty effective way of ensuring your team does not win the game.
Something else to bear in mind is that i understand under the Asian handicap betting system a 1-1 draw would have been enough to make the bookies have to pay out on the bets placed at half time when we were 1 down. if thats the case the Derby would not have even had to win the game which puts a different slant on your argument again.
