Thing is that you CAN'T gamble on hot prospects if you can't afford to lose the gamble financially. And we can't (yet). I bet there are loads he'd like to take a chance on, but that means he would have to sacrifice signing the "necessary" players like MLJ, Colin and Jarrett.
