Match fixing......... my opinion.

My job is betting sports.

Observing the results of games that have "unusual betting patterns" over the years its hard not to come to the conclusion that something is not on the level in these games.

Most sportsbetting markets are pretty efficent.
When you see odds that are so far out of wack that it defies logic you have to question the honesty of the game in question.

I can assure you there have been many games that were extremely suspicious based purely on betting patterns.
Most never recieved almost no publicity.
The bookies knew something was up but paid because they couldnt be seen to be stiffing their customers.

Based on everything I have read and the betting/spreadbetting odds in question its obvious that its highly unlikely that Norwich had any part of any alleged match fixing.

The moment that sticks out is the penalty.......

The 2nd half odds on Norwich would reflect a team who had a penalty (high conversion %) and playing a 10 man team for most of the 2nd half.

A lot of past matches were rigged either by the Goalkeepers or the Referee.
For obvious reasons they both have the biggest influence on the game.

I would think most of the investigation would center on the way the penalty was conceded.
