What is does is convey to the manager and the team that what

they have produced is not good enough. Some managers can see that for themslevs, others need the hint! On saturday he changed the formation at half time and we looked a better team for it. That may or may not have been connected to the booing.

Personally i don't think it does the jumped up pre-madonnas any harm to occasionally be left in no doubt we will not tolerate them underperforming. As long as they then get duly praised when it is deserved i really don't see the problem.
