Kris charity walk

hi all,

Just to let you know that the recent Mrs Griffin and I are doing the walk for Leukaemia in Stratford on October 14 (Tuesday) with Sir Ian Botham.

Between us we have raised nearly ?800 and hope to find enough support to get us to ?1000. That's where you come in; any amount is really appreciated and will go towards a very worthy cause.

My treatment is going very well and I feel fit and healthy. The anti-cancer drug I take (just 1 tablet a day) is relatively new and has revolutionised the treatment of my form of Leukaemia. When Sir Ian Botham started his first walk back in 1985 children diagnosed with leukaemia had just a 20% chance of survival. Today it is an 80% chance. Adults have an even better survival rate. Without donations this progress would not have been made.
