someone raised the issue once in a SCC meeting (Staff Consultative Committee) and was told that it constituted too much of a risk and that we would have to make do with the soon to be free vending machines (they were 20p a cup at the time, except during the allotted morning and afternoon tea break windows when they automatically switched to 'free' vend - though even then there was a 10p a month deduction from everyone's salary to cover this 'expense') or the subsidised canteens
