having heard THE pre match interview with our esteemed Chief Executive and then having heard THE first 55 minutes of the commentary before I went out , it appears that we are a club meandering towards mediocrity
ND was very keen to point out that THE accounts are not a cause for concern , even though we had to rely on a local businessman for our latest Loanee . Come January however we may need to realign our earnings depending on where we are in THE league . No mention was made as to why a Chief executive in THE championship earns well above the local average and is in no imminent danger of a pay decrease
Onto the game , It does seem to me ( having seen no games this season at all ) that THE management have very big ideas and expectations , but that the team cannot deliver that level . whether that is a fault of over expectation , or that the players brought in ( the majority by our current manager ) are not good enough is open to debate
I found myself looking at League one and thinking it will be inevitable that we will be in that league within three years - We plainly cannot compete at THE higher end of THE championship , where teams are built with physicality and endeavour in mind ahead of skill, Not to mention financially
It seems as if this is another season where we started off with high expectancy , but by early October these are replaced by apathy and resignation
Never mind , Norfolks game of THE season is this weekend and I am going to reserves tonight !!!
