Do you mean 3rd in the Prem and Europe - or just promotion?

Obviously, the former ain't gonna ever happen again, and fair enough - but there's surely no chance of the latter either. As for alternatives: we'd be far more likely to have one if they were throwing the kitchen sink at finding one, instead of imposing all sorts of conditions and failing to even meet with our richest known fan!
