'our' lad

he started well but in rounds 3 and 4 looked like someone ready to be sparked out - very unimpressive and a better opponent wouldn't have ignored this inviting headshot that was almost always on offer. Defence? let's not get onto that subject. But then he came back stronger and stopped the guy in the 6th, and looked a lot better doing it.

In fairness to the guy he admitted afterwards that he doubted he'd looked very tidy during that bad spell - but really, it was a very bad spell.
