then when he lists some of the inconsistencies in the stories, they question him about them

They told him to read the article, even though the headline is something he didn't like. They made out the article is different to the headline, then questioned him about giving them the day off (I thought the article is different to the headline?)

They are twisting everything he does and say on purpose
