He's asked them questions, they've can't answer many of them, they'll print what they like, and he's threatened to not talk to them anymore

In that sense, they lose, because if he keeps to that, and gets Hughton to do it, they'll hate it, cos they want the above for entertainment

The press have got their pound of flesh out of all this.

The PR guy asked them to keep it quiet, one of them has spilled it

So again, Joe Kinnear is proved right, that they aren't to be trusted

What's sad about that mp3, is when he states he refuses to talk to them, they kiss his arse, because they need him for their own sensationalism

Pathetic.

Like you say he's fighting a losing battle, but that battle won't exist when he doesn't talk to them. In that sense, they've lost big time with their aggravation tactics on him

It's worked, but if Kinnear keeps to that promise, it's only worked once
