The idea is an intelligent reader of the game, who steps in, wins the ball, and passes it a few yards to someone who has the flair to make something happen. It is not, as Worthy seems to think, to run around like a blue arsed fly chasing the ball wherever it goes and kicking people (see Holt, Hughes).
Oh how I hope Safri gets fit soon and stays that way. He is imperative to us, and if Worthy insists on playing Hughes instead of him or alongside him, then he's truly lost it.
