Techy Help - vista and firewall

Gents,

whats the best free firewall to use at the moment?
used to use zonealarm, but now my computer has been upgraded to vista, zone alarm dont work.
I tried downloading it, but it never completed and as a consequence was unable to get on to the net.
uninstalled zone alarm, hey presto it work
