one of those where you'd warn the player, and if he did it again, you'd say "I warned you". Then after that card, worse offences occured on the pitch and were not punished

That then meant Everton spent the rest of the game falling to the floor and complaining about everything, inbetween incidents that needed to be handled

The game largely just became all about mike riley and not football

Second half has been better, and more football played, but a lot of the first half was instigated by the referee
