Why do City songs always seem to go from starting slowly and being sung 'traditionally' to degenerating into continuous noise where you can't hear what is being sun? During renditions of 'Glenn Roeder's green and yellow army it sounds like the Barclay has been taken over by a group of excited teenagers building up to far too hasty climax.
This used to be a slow song. Same with yellow army, it gets so quick it just merges into one mess of noise and clapping... "Yarmyyarmyyarmy". I think this is why the songs die off so quickly because you can't keep up and people get pissed off. To any of the Barclay choir can I please plead to bring some sensible speed back to singing. It's getting ridiculous. Just my thought and I can't be the only preferer of the traditional way songs were sung... The campaign starts here??
