Bader-Meinhof Phenomenon.

Someone was rattling on about Ma Baker by Boney M on BBC Sheffield on my way to work this morning. And now you start waffling on about it, on the exact same day, when I've gone literally quite a long time without anyone bringing it up in conversation.

On exactly the same BBC Sheffield programme this morning, they also talked about the Bader-Meinhof Gang, which prompted me to do a bit of googling into them - by accident I found out what the "Bader-Meinhof Phenomenon" is. Wikipedia says: "The Baader-Meinhof phenomenon occurs when a person, after having learned some (usually obscure) fact, word, phrase, or other item for the first time, encounters that item again, perhaps several times, shortly after having learned it. This is a specialized version of the effect of serendipity."

Which is very bloody nearly what you've just done with Ma Baker.
