He wasn't the greatest crosser but the opposition were never certain about what he'd actually do (I don't think he was sometimes!). One thing I do know is that at times last night, particularly in the second-half, Bertrand had several opportunities to run at defenders and get in the box. He never achieved this once, Hux would have. In response to 2004 just remember that in 06/07 he virtually single-handedly kept us in this league and he was usually, not always, but usually the only City player who actually made the game exciting. As to the old chesnut often trotted out about not affording his wages, does anyone really believe that Sibierski isn't being paid more?
