I know neither of my points will be popular but...........

what's all this rubbish about a poor ref? I thought he was reasonable and the fact that Fotheringham doesn't understand the rules about direct free-kicks isn't the ref's fault. I agree that the hand ball was harsh but booking Fotheringham and pushing the free-kick forward was his own fault. Secondly and I know there'll be the usual 'move on' 'get over it' sanctamonious comments but the fact is that we have no cutting edge on either flank and last night neither wing-back was capable of even a half-decent cross. With 20 minutes to go imagine what a difference it would've made to bring Huckerby on. And for all those who'll slap the foreheads in response, there's absolutely nothing wrong with continuing to question that decision.
