Is this it again?

After watching the game tonight I sadly cannot see us anywhere other than mid table at best and down the bottom at worst. There seemed little reason for optimism. QPR had a game plan once they were down to 10 and they played it top perfection. We had no idea what to do with the extra man and the whole thing was very depressing. Once again we have a team full of average players at best and the tactics were dreadful, particularly when Houlihan was taken off when he looked like the only player who could get through their defence. He should have been played wide on the left. I knew we were in trouble as soon as I saw the size of the QPR players. We cannot play against strong physical teams. As for Fotheringham. Sad to say he can't pass the ball, he can't take corner and he couldn't even throw the ball in. He had plenty of space in midfield but hadn't a clue what to do with it. Perhaps Roeder could go into the market again and buy/get on loan some more really average players when the window opens. Talking about the window opening, quite a few of us might be jumping through it before long.
