So, let's get this straight: a player who was scouted at the African Cup of Nations represents his country in World Cup qualifiers and then the Olympics and his manager (who is supposedly one of the brighter sparks in footy) expresses his "surprise"?

Note to Stevie C - as you scouted him at an *international* tournament why is it a surprise that he is required to play for his country?
