Charlton

I thought he played fairly well (as well as a defender can in midfield) and made some good blocks/tackles but he is obviously not a central midfielder and wouldn't be playing there if it wasn't for injuries. Trouble is, we only have two injuries in midfield and we're having to play defenders in midfield. Safri isn't going to be here for African nations cup anyway so one injury while he's away and we'll be back to this situation again. Worrying.

Also worrying if it's true that a fit Shackell was left out of the team. We can't afford to throw away points by not playing our best players because of dressing room bust-ups. Would the same happen if Ashton did something naughty? (All rumour of course!)
