Yesterday - think positive!!!

Woah... just read some of the messages on here and must say I'm pretty amazed.

Yes, we didnt play well, but do you really think we are going to win every game 5-0?!? Look at the relegated teams results so far - it aint going to be as easy as people think.

And we never get off to a good start anyway!

I think the postive thing from yesterday, was that we were poor second half, but realistically deserved to win the game with the chances we created.

A lot of players actually did really well... some of the ratings on this board are insane (anything below a 5 is stupid - we didnt lose for god sake!), so here are my ratings

Green - 7 (1 great save)
MLJ - 5.5 (out of position for goal, otherwise would be a 6.5)
Flem - 5 (nervous / past it)
Doc - 6 (better than flem and did alright, but gets bad press being boo-boy favourite)
Drury - 5 (v. nervous... *hooof*)
Marney - 7 (going to be great this season)
Hughes - 6 (couldnt pass 2nd half)
Charlton - 8 (MOTM for me - our new CM?)
Hucks - 7.5 (looked sharp)
Mckenzie - 7.5 (confident as ever)
Ashton - 8 (such a threat)

From what I've seen so far this season, which is only 1 game remember, I think we need a new left back (or maybe play brennan or charlton) and we need a new centre-back (to play along side Shacks... fleming is past it and doc is never going to be great). If we got that we would walk this league.

Having said that, I think once we have a fully fit and mentally together team we can easily get automatic promotion with the team we've got.
