THURSDAY: Some wag on the BBC site compares David Bentley to Jordi Cruyff. David Bentley responds by comparing himself to Pele.
FRIDAY: David Bentley compares himself to God.
SATURDAY: David Bentley has a largely ineffectual game, until Darren Bent heads in a half-decent 87th minute free-kick to make the score Tottenham 1 Wigan 3. Bentley gives an interview saying he should be England captain.

Repeat every week until either Bentley or myself dies.
