and i'm an avid bbc radio 2 and 5live listener (being middle aged, middle class white trash!)

but bbc1 and bbc 2 make up 65% of total bbc coverage, which includes bbc news channel and the radio channels. Incidently bbc radio 2 has approx 30% more listeners than radio1.

therefore, 65% of funding should go, you would think, to bcc1 and bbc2......

no way can they compete with sky and as you say, other trash....
