Brief England Comment

Late comments about the game last night...

At one point early in the 1st half, when Rooney was tracking back and harassing a Croatian player, in our box, and, to all extents and purposes, playing as a left back, obscenities and exasperated shakes of the head followed in the Peters' living room...

...however, thats how he is and I suspect Capello will try to gently persuade him that he doesn't need to cover all of the pitch, all of the time, and thus become the first truly ubiquitous footballer-because when he gets his game hat on, he is unbelievably good-I hope Capello can bring out the player in him that was so clear when he first appeared on the scene, I am guessing that much of the responsibilities for getting back, chasing his man and generally covering comes as he has been made a bit of a sacrifice for Ronaldo at Man Utd to "do his thing"?
