Sometimes you get good runs from teams like Wales, but Scotland proved

that you really need to perform all the time to qualify

Despite some cameo flashes of excitement (winning France etc), they couldn't follow through, and it's always the same story with the other nations (Wales Romania when Bowen was still playing for us etc)
