Grim prospect for tomorrow is that we will *probably* lose tonight. But would be no disaster - realistically, they're likely to win the group, and they'll beat most teams at home.
Real question is whether we can get something from them at home, and whether we can get 4 points vs Ukraine (and not slip up too often against anyone else).
So a narrow defeat tonight would hardly be a catastrophe or a surprise - but of course the media are going to go loopy if we do lose. No doubt there'll be calls for Capello to go already, FFS.
Sigh. Time to go on a media blackout tomorrow, I suspect. (And wrath will no doubt be just as bad....)
