yeah, it's not desperate by any means...

i just don't rate doherty and hope worthy sees that we need another central midfielder (didn't he say during the week there'd be no more signings?) because we need to get passing the ball through the team again, and to do that you need better quality in there than hughes and charlton.

i think that's a fairly justified early observation.
