I did the Great Yorkshire Run yesterday. Came 2,211th out of 6,000-odd runners, in a time of 58m 31s. I beat Kevin Blackwells, the manager of Sheffield United who finished in one hour suffen.

While running I saw a troupe of women running in aid of "Christians Against Poverty", but they were all wearing suspiciously expensive running shoes. Something not quite right there.
