MD made some interesting points, and hadn't thought of Roeder conceding the Plymouth game with the NCFC rejects. It was one of the best things he?s written on Waghorn?s site.
And as regards his view about the ?2 million from Delia, he agrees with the version of events I wrote on the Oink Un board (sorry but wotb is banned at work) where the funding was agreed in the summer but only announced this week.
The way it was reported by the EDP - it sounded like Delia had just decided to put the ?2 million in after the Turners had left the board. I didn?t think that this was the case, and couldn?t believe that NCFC would run such a huge deficit without having some sort of plan as to how they would cover it.
All this leads me to conclude that the reasons the Turners left the board was that they couldn?t or wouldn?t pay up the cash they?d promised pre-season, which made their position as directors of NCFC untenable.
