basically, with top up tv it says discovery channel, sci channel etc but......

you can't just turn on the channel and watch it like any other channel. it downloads certain programs from that channel and then you can watch them or delete them.

For example, dicovery channel, I thought " that might be good, can sit and broaden my knowledge". But no. It downloaded a program about how cardboard is made. seriously. and that was all i could watch from discovery that day.

its a bit of a cheat. if you go to the top up tv website it tells you what shows it is going to download from what channels each week.
