i think that the Turners had some sort of agreement in place with D & M to eventually takeover the club by means of continual interest-free loans which were then to be turned into a majority shareholding at some point in the future - along the lines of how D & M themselves increased their shareholding.
it was because of this secret agreement that prevented them talking to Cullum fully unless certain conditions were met.
the Turners have now copped a right strop because D & M wanted to change the secret agreement and take Cullum's money instead and so quit the board taking their extra ?1.5m with them.
this has now left the door open for Cullum to re-bid for control of the club, but the media hysteria is affecting confidence within the club itself.
D & M publically pump in an extra ?2m to make everybody relax again in the knowledge that it'll only be short-term as Cullum's about to make us the 2nd richest club in the Fizzy.
then everybody's happy, except the Turners who after trying to help, turned out to be the route of all evil.
The End.
