oh great - he was one of the bright spots of today

charlie did ok and hughes did ok first half.

BUT charlie is a defender and hughes is a worker and little else. neither of them got forward to support attacks much, and neither had the ability to get hold of the ball and create something with it.

coventry ran the midfield, and they weren't particularly good. i know it's not our first choice central midfield pairing, but it just goes to sow how weak we are when we have a couple of injuries.

worthy simply has to buy another central midfielder to replace francis pre transfer deadline or i fear we're in for a long hard road to christmas with a total lack of midfield poise and passing...unless jarrett and safri get fit and stay fit.
