Yes, agree. That's exactly the point.

Before, he said he wants (ultimate) control.

Today, he's said "I don't want to run a football club."

My point is simply that those two aren't necessarily incompatible, if by running he's talking about day-to-day decisions, chairing the board etc.

Which is what I thought you were saying originally.
