i thought i'd read somewhere that because he hadn't actually been convicted of anything he

managed to sail through the process, indeed, since then i thought i'd read that the FA were going to look into the whole process to make sure the same thing couldn't happen again

i may be thinking of something else entirely though, memory's not what it used to be!
