I get your point, and I agree, a lot of the 'old days' was bloody shocking

I like to a point the shift in the audience.
The fact football is 'safer' now for want of a better word.
AS for the players, some annoy me, we do lack characters (although a lot of that is down to the media and us as fans, we seem to have lost our sense of humour) but its no great problem.

You could be spot on, it could be about moving with the times, but is it worth it?
Football is this country is, at the minute, uncompetitive. It doesn't matter about all the other things, the fact of the matter is the EPL will be won by manure or chelski, Liverpool and the Arse will be third and fourth, and who bloody cares about the rest?
That's my only real problem.
All the rest would be a non issue if I could believe in my heart that Hull could remain where they are untill the end of the season.
