I agree both with the article and what you say

Football is dying, maybe not in terms of attendances and turnovers but in terms of atmosphere and soul. Far too sanitised now and (aside from a few games a season) not half as enjoyable as I remember it being in the past. I occaisonally find myself thinking of jacking it all in and doing something else with my time (until I remember i'm a sad b*stard who has nothing better to do on a saturday afternoon!) which is something that i would never have thought in the past.
