Francis(again)seems like a good deal for us

WIGAN have completed the signing of Damien Francis from Norwich.

The 26-year-old midfield player has signed a three-year contract after a transfer which could eventually be worth ?2.25million to the Canaries.

The Premiership new boys will pay an initial ?1.5m with a further ?500,000 payable on match appearances and ?250,000 more if the Latics stay up this season.

City will also take 25 per cent of any sell-on fee.

Francis could make his debut in the friendly against Boavista today.

He said: ?Wigan are ambitious and so am I.?
