they've never had a sponsor. Probably because the 'blaugrana' strip is seen as almost a national kit - on which a sponsorship logo would be something like sacrilige.

So there were plenty of cynics who thought that the Unicef thing was softening the fans up to them eventually having a commercial sponsor, rather than a noble gesture from Barca.
