Wigan have completed the signing of Norwich midfield man Damien Francis on a three-year contract.
The 26-year-old signed after completing a medical to become the Premiership newcomers' fifth summer signing.

He said: "Wigan is a forward-thinking and ambitious club and that fits in with the kind of person I am. The deal happened really quickly and it's great to have signed for Wigan and be back in the Premiership. Leaving Norwich was an easy decision."

He added: It was not brilliant playing in the Premiership last season with Norwich; it is without a doubt the best and toughest league in world football.

"Even though we got relegated last season I still enjoyed the experience and think I'm a better player for it."
