I watched, or read, can't remember what...

...off-shore dredging takes place off the East Anglian coastline for some kind of mineral used in cement...whereas other European countries regulate and enforce quotas for whatever this stuff is the UK doesn't...the upshot being that the erosion of our fine and beautiful coast is accelerating because the stuff they dredge for in the bottom of the sea is not acting as a natural breaker to the waves crashing into the coastline...

Still, f**k East Anglia, eh? It's not as if anyone important lives there and as long as we can supply lots of cement what's the problem?..
