Nor were they responsible for fiddling while Rome burned as our parachute payments vanished; nor were they responsible for committing the club to a long-term securitisation which guarantees the manager won't get enough to spend; nor were they responsible for leaving Jim f**king Duffy in charge for nearly a month until they appointed someone who'd been available all along.
