the present is unpalatable. It's not the fans' fault if players haven't been replaced.
Not time to panic yet but Hoolahan, Koroma and Lupoli are no Hucks, Dion and Evans (yet).
In some ways we look a stronger team than last year (Stefanovic is class, Kennedy will be good) but in other areas we look ludicrously lightweight - we could just get shoved aside by a number of teams - which makes it an even more puzzling decision to leave Russell out, one of our few genuinely combative players. We were a much, much better team when he came on, as we were in the Colchester friendly.
As I say, not time to panic, but time to be a bit worried if two or three good signings don't arrive.
