We play pretty football at times but we are so obviously a confidence team. I fear that this may stem from Roeder's man management but I hope I'm wrong.
Our midfield and forwards are a bunch of pansies that get bullied and pushed around and have ZERO confidence. Witness Jamie Cureton bottling a one-on-one to pass to Lupoli who was waiting (offside) for the follow-up. Lupoli missed from an open goal btw.
Dunno... I was pretty positive after last week but I see a pattern emerging.
We have no-one in midfield who can break play up and I don't think I've seen us steal possession once in 180 minutes of football this season.
Yes, we need a big man up front but we also need some more steel and positivity in the side - which is why people are bigging up Patty as he was one the few that offered this.. despite having little actual talent.
FWIW I also thought Patty was good today - for that reason.
