the gist of it was that I mentioned something on the board after the endless "Damo must stay" threads during June. I said that I'd heard that certain members of the first team were none to impressed with DF's application, and had said as much to the gaffer especially after the Soton game.

TH concurred that he'd heard the same thing, then OG got a massive blub on about how he hates the "I know something you don't tone" from some people. Thing is, it wasn't like that at all, but he got rather upset by it all.

There's always been ribbing of a smouldering sexual tension between the two. The tension that night was a little unsavoury, but then you can only read words at face value. You can't read any tone or meaning into them.
