ROEDER, AT LEAST WE AGREE ON SOMETHING!

So roeder has stated in todays paper exactly EXACTLY! what i said yesterday(13/8/08 at 12.30)....(oh pants this proves i am not gaz as i cant do links).
Yesterday i said,
"WE NEEDED A TARGET MAN WHO COULD SCORE AND WAS STRONG ENOUGH TO PLAY THE "HOLD UP" AND "KNOCK ON" GAME!! IN MAY AND WE NEEDED HIM BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED AND MORE IMPORTANTLY WE NEED HIM BEFORE WE DIG US DEEPER IN THE BOTTOM HALF"
And roeder wrote
"It will also help when we find the big striker I have been working to find since May.
We currently have three lads I would call second strikers who would benefit from having a bigger striker to play off, as Jamie Cureton, OJ Koroma and Arturo Lupoli all work best off flicks and knockdowns."

So he agrees what we need,and he agrees he knew this in may when I AND OTHERS WITH AT LEAST A FOOTBALL HALFBRAIN NEW THIS IS WHAT WE NEEDED!

The thing is why has it taken so long to secure is signing,as surely a appropiete time wouldve been in time for pre season training,to get to know our style and to start the process of gelling...failing this, the next best time wouldve been before season kick off...
So he talks of "nowadays to get the right man, it is a long process", and "not just relying on the striker but other parties concerned to make it happen"..the usual soundbites to feed to the norwich masses

Im sorry glen, but other teams have been able to get decent strikers in on time, and in some cases,even when it looked like they had finished buying, they see after their 1st game,perhaps more compition up front is needed, and goes out and get Shoala from newcastle!!!!!!
And dont give me this he is crp stuff!,even if you and i think he is crp, the fact is mr glen roeder didnt,and has stated on record that the scm new signing will blitz the championship!!
So what i cant understand glen is,in that same interview today you said "We have all been working hard at the club and it hasn't been down to anyone at Norwich City that we haven't filled the position"
I think you meant to say at the end "why we havent filled the position"
So you havent been hampered by lack of funds,yet within ,in football terms,a click of a finger, ips can go get a player on a whim.....watford who apparently are in dire financial straits,can get a striker on season lone who ,in anyones books,is a force to be reckonend with!
I think u is lying glen and the board has not been as helpfull as you say,but you being a model employer,perhaps for the love of delia or for another reason........
As they say tomorrows another day, and if a win,or perhaps even a resounding win is not delivered tomorrow, then Can you hear that delia Tick Tock TICK TOCK...IT Wil only become LOUDER!!
