Just like Worthington had worked with Jarrett and Jarrett was the type of player we need. Just like Duffy had worked with Brellier and Brellier was the type of player we needed.

Nothing in Ameobi's recent history suggests he is worth punting a ?2 million fee on, and then at least as much again in wages, and then agents fees etc.
