Opening ceremony

FIRST thing I heard (albeit on the BBC highlights) was Hazel Irvine exclaiming amidst the quite breathtaking and majestic pomp:

"Here comes a countdown that would make Carol Vorderman proud."

GIVE ME FUCKING STRENGTH.
