Just back from the game via the curry house

Ok... so we lost

Lots of encouraging signs for me hampered by what seems to have been our achilles heel since relegation

We bossed the middle of the park and IMO won the second ball all afternoon, we passed the ball well and looked to play intelligent passes

If anything we overplayed it but it was nice to see the back 4 play the ball out of the back as opposed to doing the donkerty & shackell special of hoofing it every time it came near you

1st half quite even and although stefanovic should have seen red the back 4 coped well with pretty much anything thrown there way

Sat in Row C I couldn't see the pen so I wont comment but after that we played some great stuff and should have scored from numerous chances Lupoli missing an open goal with a header but it was above him and he created himself so I wont bang on too much about that, OJ had a 1 on 1 and should've scored whilst Crofts first touch and final ball as always let him down

There second seemed to be a cock up from Omosuzi but again being so low down I couldn't really tell

Marsh - didnt do much but let 2 in 6
Omosuzi - looked pretty composed for such a young player 7
Stefanovic - apart from not getting a red when the back 4 were too casual played well 7
Kennedy - strong at the back again composed and won a lot in the air 7
Shax - made the wrong choice a couple of times including giving away a needless corner @ the end of the first half 7
Hoolahan - pulled the strings although i'd like to see him a little bit wider 8
Clingan - mopped up all afternoon and we lost control of the middle when he went off 8
Fozzy - solid although should show a better example by not chasing the referee and nearly getting himself sent off 7
Lupoli - nice touches good runs, missed a sitter and a little lightweight 6
Curo - again nice touches good movement but from memory didn't have a shot all afternoon 6

OJ - i like the look of this lad raw i think is the word 6
Russell - didn't make any real impact for me 6

All in all plenty of positives and to boss the game away from home is encouraging.... lets just hope we can start takign our chances
