Incidentally, Nine Standard Riggs is a really good walk -

it's not too strenuous a climb but the views are stunning - you can see quite a few Lakeland peaks, several of the Dales peaks and the North Penine fells.
Kirkby Stephen has resident, free flying Green Parakeets too.
